Me_-_Scotland.jpg

Jacqueline Scott - Photographer

My photographic journey started at the tender age of 6 years old when my parents bought me my first camera.

My Father was my first teacher and instrumental in showing me how to use my camera as he is also a keen photographer.

As the years have passed Photography has become quite an addiction for me and I find that it can sometimes become very frustrating for me to go for a walk without my camera but at the same token very frustrating for anyone going for a walk with me when I take my camera!

One of the questions I'm often asked is what sort of photographer I am. I tend to call myself a landscape photographer but that's probably just because I spend a lot of time in landscapes. I feel there are good photos to be taken anywhere. From walking through a wood where acorns can be found on the ground to seeing a sunset after a glorious sunny day.

Most days will offer a moment where something will look great through a camera lens.

To me photographs can convey emotions and moods felt whilst looking at the world that surrounds me.

I hope you enjoy looking through my galleries.

Thank you.
